This prompted Chrishell to reveal that not only did she watch her house burn as a child, but that memory also flooded her mind during the evacuation last week. “There was a fire in our backyard. You had to go immediately. I froze with fear,” she said.
“I forgot when I was twelve I watched my house burn. But that’s something you don’t think about, you know what I mean?” I continued. “It happened a long time ago.”
Chrishell noted that G Flip rose to the occasion while she was stuck “still standing in the same place” and filled her in on what they needed to do to evacuate.
“You don’t know how you’re going to react. I think I would have liked to think I was good in an emergency, but this showed me I needed a little kick in the ass,” she said. “G was there to keep me focused, so it was great.”
According to Daily MailChrishell also detailed the memory in an Instagram Story the day after the eviction, noting that her home survived the fire.
“Last night reminded me of when I was 12 watching my house burn with everything I owned in it, something that wasn’t very apparent at the time,” she said in the post.
“A little bit of PTSD from that whole experience that I completely forgot about until last night and I’m standing there in shock,” she said, thanking G Flip once again for rising to the occasion.
