Ducks Junior Anika Varma stepped on 10. Tee on Saturday morning in Omni La Costau with only six tournament rounds under the belt, three as part of the Oregon Start Setup. “If there was ever a golf course that would suit her, this is,” Radley added.
Varma used the soft, morning conditions, carding only three Bogea and equalized her best round not only this season, where she was combined on Saturday, but last two seasons. “I’m an explosion here,” Varma Radley said after her. “That’s my last crossing, so let’s go cover it.” Suvichaya Vinijchaitham and Tiffany Huang added 72s to Oregon, who progressed in La Costau on the semifinal in La Costa. Romero was the result of ejection with 74.
