Lexi Thompson wants to set a few things straight.
After missing the incision on American woman open, Thompson took the social media on Sunday to defend his pace game and held that she didn’t, in fact, in fact, in fact.
More photos and videos have shown Charley Hull, which is grouped with Thompson and Nelly Kord for the first 36 holes, seemingly frustrated at a slow pace. In one picture, Hull sat on the ninth box for Tee on Erin Hills before Thompson finished his eighth hole. Hull was also recorded a sigh, as Thompson should have had a little time to hit her in the opening.
“In reality, my game wasn’t ready for a week, even though I’m a lot of hard work in it, but that won’t stop me during the week,” Thompson wrote. “I also want to add this because this time was a huge conversation. You want our group basically waiting, but (puts) on the hour. So make sure you get all the facts before the image and the little clips. That’s all!”
Thompson then moved to the subject of retirement or non-retirement. In the last year, the summer of America’s wife opened where Thompson announced that she stepped back from full golf. The announcement was performed by long video editing, while LPGA has expelled the edition she read, “Lexi Thompson announces a pension with LPGA tour.” For the rest of the Thompson season, Thompson took a shower with thanks with tournaments and fans. When she finished the year at the CME Group championship, she said so, “That was very emotionally. I wasn’t really because everything came to a reason. Yes, it’s just a special tournament as my last schedule or not.”
Open American women’s open is Thompson’s fifth start. Last year, she made the seventh beginning of the season at the championship.
“I’m not sure how many times I’ll have to repeat, but I’ve never used a word in retirement,” Written by Thompson. “I said not a full schedule, because I’m not sure how much I will play. I just take it one by one. So I still play the tournaments I actually want to play.”
