Las Vegas starting team: Michael McDowell gives Spire Motorsports its first cup language


Michael McDowell delivered Spire Motorsports’ first Career Cup on Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday.

McDowell won the pole with a shot of 186.961 mph. This is the third consecutive race that started Spire Motorsports in the first two rows.

McDowell is joined on the front row by Joey Logano of Team Penske (186.864 mph).

Logano’s teammate, Austin Cindric, qualified third with a shot of 186.793 mph.

Kyle Busch starts fourth, his best starting point of the season and the best in Las Vegas since 2020, after a round of 186.638 km / h.

Erik Jones (186.632) qualified fifth place for the second weekend in a row.

Christopher Bell, who will do a fourth consecutive cup victory, will do so from the 13th initial position to a round of 186.310 mph.

Ryan Blaney will start last in the 36 car field after not making an effort. Blaney spun during the exercise and hit the wall, necessitating repairs at the back of the car.
