Kevin Stefanski: I look forward to working with Tommy Reese to reshape our offense


The Browns made it official by announcing the promotion of Tommy Rees to offensive coordinator.

Reports emerged that Reese would be promoted to the position on Tuesday.

“Tommy has Incredible football mindCoach Kevin Stefanski said in a statement issued by the team. “He’s extremely smart and has been around the game his whole life. Before joining our staff, he established himself as one of the best assistant coaches in college football.”

“Last season, he transitioned into our tight end room and with our passing game, and he didn’t miss a beat. Because of the injuries, there was a lot of uncertainty at tight end, but Tommy did a great job with that group and always got his players ready for game day,” Although, in some cases, he was only with the team for a short period of time.”

Reese, 32, joins the Browns in 2024 as a pass/tight end coach. He previously coached at Alabama and Notre Dame.

“Creativity is a critical component of the offensive game planning process, and that’s what Tommy brings,” Stefanski said. “Our goal is to build a healthy, explosive offense that will put points on the board and I look forward to working with Tommy to reshape the Browns’ offense in 2025.”
