Jets will hire Steve Wilks as their defensive coordinator

The new Jet coach Aaron Glenn was appointed to add an experienced assistant to his staff as a defense coordinator.

Tom Pelissero from the NFL Media reports that the jet of employing Steve Wilks in that role. Glenn at the press conference came across a press conference this week that they would not call Defensive performances, so Wilks will deal with that responsibility.

Wilks was released as a 49ers coordinator after the team lost last year’s super bowl of the mayors.
