Jenny Bouchard won in Montreal to increase her tennis career. Raduku and Osaka in advance

Jenny Bouchard extended her tennis career for at least one more match on Monday, defeating Emiliana Arango-4, 2-6, -2-2 in the first round of the National Bank Open.

Bouchard announced this month that he reached the Wimbledon final and two other Grand Slam semifinals on the 27th that he would retire after final presence in his city tournament.

Then he opened it with his first WA tour win from 2023 – and proceeded to face Belinda Benic, the 300th of his career – and 17.

Bouchard reached number 5 in the rankings in the 21st, but the 5 -year -old man has gone to Pickball mostly, playing only one match this season before giving the wild card to the Montreal Tournament.

After splitting the first two sets, Bouchard broke the 12th ranked Arango twice-first with Fourhand, then to create a lead in the third place from Colombia’s Miss Volil 1-0.

Arango returned with Bouchard by serving 5-2 for the match, but the Canadian rose 40-love in the upcoming game. Arango then sent his backhand to Bouchard’s second match point.

After the win, Bouchard crowded and kissed the crowd.

“I told my family that if I could win I would get out of retirement,” he said from the Center Court. “I felt like old ginger there.”

Emma Radukanu defeated Elena-Gabriella Rus-2-2, -4-5 in the semifinals in Washington just two days later. Since Naomi Osaka announced in his first tournament, he would no longer work with coach Patrick Mortoglo, Aryana Arsenilt -2-2 -2-2.
