Jenny Bouchard will retire from tennis after the final presence in Montreal

Montril – Jenny Bouchard retired from the Wimbledon final and two more Grand Slam semifinals in the 21st.

Tennis Canada said on Wednesday that the Canadian will play at the National Bank Open in Montreal late this month before its career ends.

The agency said the 4 -year -old Bouchard would be given a wild card in his own city tournament.

“It’s time to know when you know. Now, to me,” Bouchard posted on social media with pictures of his game. “The end where it started: Montreal.”

Bouchard reached 5 in the WAA rankings and won his loan single title in 2014. Petra defeated Petra Kevitova in the Wimbledon final even after arriving in the semifinals that year at the Australian Open and the French Open.

He returned to the quarter -finals in Australia on the 21st, but later that year, a wet locker in the US Open fell on the floor of the room and forced him to withdraw before his fourth round match. He sued the US Tennis Association and in a jury showed that the organization was in the blame of 75% and was guilty of 25%.

Bouchard helped Canada win the title of his lonely Jean King Cup in 2021, but most have gone to Picble, who played only one match on tour this season. His career has a single record 299-230.

“He defined one of the most important figures in our sports history in Canada and what the Canadian tennis could be,” said Valery Tetrolt, director of the National Bank Open Tournament. “We are proud of what he has done as a player and a role model and we can’t wait to see him in action for the last time IGA Stadium this summer.”
