Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket liftoff

Jeff Bezos’ company Blue Origin has successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time.

The reusable rocket, New Glenn, was originally scheduled to launch later this week, but was delayed due to a “vehicle subsystem problem.”

The mission was partially successful as the booster that propelled the rocket into space failed to land on an ocean platform.
