Jalek Swoll injured Achilles tendon, will not make Supercross 250 West opener

Jalek Swoll has injured his Achilles tendon and will move from the 250 West division to the 250 East at least, According to RacerXOnline.com. The injury is serious enough that he may be forced to miss the East Coast opener in Tampa, Florida at Round 5 of the Monster Energy Supercross season.

“Entering his second season with the Triumph Racing Factory Team, Swoll was eager to build on a successful 2024 campaign,” Factory Triumph said in a press release. “The initial symptoms point to a tendon injury, although Jalek will undergo a more detailed medical examination to obtain a complete diagnosis.”

That injury requires Stylez Robertson to go West to give Swoll a chance to heal. Jordon Smith will be joined by Austin Forkner, who was originally assigned to the West division, but will switch to the East if the Swollen return is delayed. Triumph sees Smith and Forkner as the best chances to win the 250 division title with Robertson missing last year with an injury.

“Swapping coasts in Austin and Stiles will ensure we have the best possible representation at the gate and continue to build on last year’s successes.” said Ian Kimber, Head of Global Racing Programs at Triumph.
