Ion Iliescu former Romanian president, directed the chaotic transition from the country in the country ages 95.
Iliescu was diagnosed with lung cancer and hospitalized in early June in the Romanian capital, Bucarest.
“The government announces the passage of former Romanian presidents, Mr. Ion Iliescu,” A government statement said that the details of a state’s funeral would soon be shared.
Iliescu was the first president of Romania, and served twice, between 1986-1996 and 2000-2004. The Communist Regime in Romania was accused of crimes on violent revolting that founded in 1989, but he always declined wrong.
The charges were brought in 2019, but was never convicted.
Separating, he also complained about the role of students to call students after elections in 1990.

Before his latest hospitalization, Iliescu received the usual studies at Elias Hospital in Bucarest.
