How to Watch Sunday’s Cup Reto in Mexico City: Start time, TV stream information, again


Nascar’s top series will chase south of the border for the first time on Sunday – and outside the United States for the first time in nearly 67 years.

The 100-Round event at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez will be the third International Points race for the NASCAR CUP series-the past two were in Canada, with the most recent in Toronto on July 18, 1958.

Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez’s 15-turn, 2.42 mile layout, becomes the 16th roadway hosted by a cup of cup and the sixth roadway of the past 10 held on a road or street. The track, which liked 2005-08 XFinity races, is the 13th new track in Cup since 2000.

Chase Elliott (three wins), Ryan Blaney (two) and Joey Logano (two) have won seven of the past 11 Cup points on the tracks that are new.

Mexico City is the beginning of a critical range of road courses, which will cover four of the last 11 races in the regular 2025 season. Hendrick Motorsports, who won on a cup record of eight road courses, leads in Poland, wins, top five, top 10s, Leap-Led and the average finish on roadbans since the next Gen car was launched in 2022.

Hendrick drivers have won the past eight on road or street courses (two wins by piece for William Byron and Kyle Larson and one for Alex Bowman).
