The Nascar Cup series returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday, and tries to be one of its best finishes in history once.
Winner Daniel Suarez, runner-up Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch, were separated by 0.007 seconds on February 25, 2024 for the nearest three-way final ever in the cup series and the fourth closely overall.
The shooting was not an outlier at the 1.54-mile Oval, which became an exciting ride in the leading series of Nascar since being reconfigured three years ago in a high-bank essay. Suarez’s second career victory in Cup changed a race with a 48 lead track record.
