Christopher Bell will be elected to make NASCAR history on Phoenix Raceway on Sunday.
After winning a year ago on the 1-Mile Oval, Bell will try to defend his victory and become the first manager to win three consecutive races in the next Genera.
The no. 20 Toyota has been in the Victory Lane for the past two weeks at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Circuit of the Americas.
Sunday’s race will also use the return of the Prime and Option ties recently used at Richmond Raceway last August in August.
The four-time IMSA winner Katherine Legge Will make her nascar cup debut with live fast motorsports.
Legge, who started last year in the past two Indy 500s and seven Indycar Ovaal races, will be the first woman to chase the next Gen Car and the first female driver in the top series of Nascar since Danica Patrick in 2018.
