How to watch Saturday’s XFinity race at Talladega: Start time, TV information and again

Involved was a recent theme for the XFinity series on Talladega Superspeedway, and the trend figures to play a role in Saturday’s 113 Round race.

The 41 car entry list contains 11 drivers who have never made an Xfinity start at Talladega. It seems to increase the chance of a first time or surprise winner at the 2.66 -mile oval. Five of the last 11 XFinity winners at Talladega achieved their first career victory – Jesse Love (2024), Brandon Brown (2021), Jeb Burton (2021), Justin Haley (2020) and Spencer Gallagher (2018).

Among the newcomers in this race, Jake Garcia will try to make his XFinity Series debut, and Katherine Legge will start her first Xfinity on a Superspeedway. Jeffrey Earnhardt and Jesse Iwuji will also make their first beginning this year.

Chevrolet has won over the past 11 XFinity series races at Talladega, the second longest series line for a manufacturer on a track since 16 consecutive for Chevy in Bristol from 1997-2005.

The last six XFinity races at Talladega were also won by six different drivers. The best option to keep the line alive is perhaps the Austin Hill of Richard Childress Racing, which led 189 rounds on Talladega, but was never higher than 14th place, despite eight wins on the setting of tracks.

RCR was an excellent way to set up tracks and won ten of the past 19 while leading a best 1.152 rounds (no other team has more than 399). RCR also has five consecutive XFinity poles at Talladega.

Forecasting Weatherundergound – Partly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. High of 83 degrees with a 40% chance of rain. It is expected to be 77 degrees with a 24% chance of rain at the beginning of the Arca race and 81 degrees with a 41% chance of rain at the beginning of the Xfinity race.

Last time: Sammy Smith took the lead of Riley Herbst on the final round of the race on October 5, 2024, which was expanded over time by a massive stack on lap 92 of a scheduled 94.

Last year: Jesse Love achieved his first career XFinity victory in April 20, 2024, and achieved Riley Herbst with 0.141 seconds.
