MANILA, Philippines – House prosecutors will hold a press conference on Wednesday, June 11, a day after the Senate, sitting as an impeachment court, remanded to the lower chamber the articles of impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte.

The move, which was supported by 18 senators, has put the trial of the Vice President in limbo. The senators who voted against the motion of senators Bato dela Rosa and Alan Peter Cayetano, as well as legal experts, said the move is unconstitutional.
