MANILA, Philippines – Filipino Catholics are organizing more community prayers for Pope Francis on Friday, February 21, as the 88-year-old pontiff battles double pneumonia at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.

At the Manila Cathedral, Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula is leading a Holy Hour for the Healing of Pope Francis at 5 pm (Manila time) on Friday.

The Holy See’s ambassador to the Philippines, Archbishop Charles Brown, is set to deliver the homily.
