Bad news: Noah Gragson finished on the top round in just three of the last eight races.
Haas Factory Team – Good News: Cole Custer first recorded for the first time this season for the first time this season and this past weekend placed 13th place on Talladega and 19th place in Texas. Bad news: Even with the finishes over the past two weeks, Custer is 34th in the points.
Hendrick Motorsports – Good News: Kyle Larson ranked the first or second place in the previous two races at 1.5 mile tracks. He was second in Homestead, a race he won, and first in Texas, a race he finished fourth. … Larson’s average finish at 1.5 mile cuts this season is the best 4.7 series. … Larson leads the series with seven top five finishes and eight top 10s this year. … Larson achieved a best 108 stage points. … Alex Bowman’s Top -10’s in Kansas is most on any track. … Chase Elliott is the only driver to finish in the top -20 this season. … Elliott has four consecutive top -10s in Kansas. … William Byron’s average endpoint this season is 8.91, the best in the series. … Byron scored 107 stage points to be second as Larson in that category. Bad news: Bowman has three finishes of 35th or worse in the last four races.
Hyak Motorsports – Good News: Ricky Stenhouse jr. The sixth place in Texas last weekend brought him to the final transfer site to the playoffs. … The finish was also its best result at Texas in 21. Bad news: Stenhouse started one top 10 final in 24 cup at Kansas.
Joe Gibbs Racing – Good News: Christopher Bell has won the last three races in Kansas. … Bell led each of the six Kansas races in the next Genera. … Bell has 10 top 10s, including two wins, in the last 14 races at 1.5 mile tracks. … Denny Hamlin has seven consecutive top 10 finishes in Kansas. … Ty Gibbs has started in the top three races in the top -10. Bad news: The organization has only led 16 rounds to 1.5 mile tracks this season. … Hamlin has finished out of the top -20 over the past two races. … Chase Briscoe has not started better than 13th place in eight Kansas yet. … Gibbs’ average finish of 23.8 on Kansas is its worst below 1.5 mile tracks.

Bad news: Jones has started 90 since his last cup victory.
Richard Childress Racing – Good News: Austin Dillon recorded three top 10 finishes in succession, which is tied for its longest cup line. … Jesse Love makes his third start of the season and will be in the number 33 in Kansas. Bad news: The organization has only one top five final this season. … It’s now 68 races win Kyle Busch’s last cup victory.
Rick True Racing – Good News: This past weekend’s race in Texas finished Cody true 30th, with the fifth time he was placed between the 24th and 30th this season. Bad news: True, in the last nine races, did not start better than 33rd.
RFK Racing – Good News: All three Ryan Preece’s top 10s at 1.5 mile tracks were in the last four races. Bad news: It was a year ago that Chris Buescher lost to Kyle Larson against a series record of 0.001 seconds. … Buescher finished 18th or worse in four of the last five races. … Brad Keselowski finished 26th or worse this year in eight of the 11 races. … Preece had four finishes of the 20th or worse this season.
