Georgia QB Carson Beck will enter the transfer portal

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck appears to have changed his plans for the 2025 season.

Beck announced his intention to enter the 2025 NFL Draft Late last monthbut Pete Nakos of On3.com reported that Beck His path has changed. You will now enter the transfer portal.

Beck had a great season in 2023 with the Bulldogs, but didn’t play well in 2024 and then tore his right ulnar collateral ligament in the SEC title game in November. The uncertainty of how he will emerge from injury rehab may have helped push Beck toward a move in hopes of rebuilding his stock.

This uncertainty could also impact what schools look to bring Beck into the fold. However, it looks like it will be 2026 before Beck reaches the professional ranks.
