Florida QB DJ LAGWAY ‘LIMITED in throwing activities’ during spring practice

Gainesville, Fla. – Florida Quarterback Dj Lagway will be “limited in throwing activities” during spring practice, the coach Billy Napier said Thursday.

Napier also said Lagway dealt with a lower body body injury, but the coach provided several details that did not say that the return strike had no outside season surgery.

Lagway missed the game last November as he recovered from the tense of the left power that he suffered from Georgia. But he started every match after, including the victory of the Florida wrist against Tulan in December.

“I think our intentions here are very smart,” the napier said. “I think he will be limited in throwing activity. But he will participate in all the practices otherwise. We have done a lot of homework in relation to the things that he passed. He was an absolute warrior and a great competitor that showed toughness.”

Lagway finished 60% of the passage for 1,915 meters, with 12 touchdowns and nine intercepts as freshmen last season. He took the initial role after Graham Mertz extract the knee ligament in Tennessee last October.

The napier said that the coaches plan that a false call back in Backup, Harrison Bailey, Transfer from Louisville, in order to take place in spring drills starting later on Thursday.

“We are quite advised with quite a few experts with UF’s health, from a national perspective, as we do with a lot of our players in terms of another opinion,” Napier said. “Generally, he will be able to do quite a little, but there will be certain restrictions.”

Napier also expects Lagway to achieve progress despite mostly viewing from afar.

“It’s his team, so there’s a lot different role and voice from the perspective of leadership,” Napier said. “I think he has to move a little success. Can he separate the noise and hype? Can he live in the middle there? Can he become a process-oriented? Can he separate the process and outcome?

“Can it still be consistent in this regard? Maintaining this humility, remaining based, and then pushing the envelope from the development point of view. There is a lot there, and I know it would be the first to tell you that it is excited about it.”
