Federico Sina cut off Coleman Wang in Madrid to win his second ATP 1000


Madrid – Italian teenager Federico Sina lifted his second ATP Masters 1000 wins by defeating Coleman Wang on a straight set of Madrid Open.

The 18-year-old Sina Miami’s current No. 70 has won 7-6 (5), 6-1, to win his ATP 1000 debut against Francisco Comsa against Francisco Comsa. He saved both break points face to face against Wang and finished with three winners.

“I’m very happy with this win,” says the Wild Card the 373 Ranned Sina. “Before the match I was a bit tight but after a few games I started to look good. Winning a match at this event is really special.”

Sina Next will face the American Sebastian Corder. He lost the second round of match in Miami to Grigo’s Dimitrav.

In his opening match at a challenger event in Italy, Sina lost straight to Belgium’s Rafael Colonon.
