Dallas Mavericks received the news they were expecting to avoid on Tuesday, as it was announced that Kyrie Irving would be lost the rest of the season with a left knee ACL. The new All-Star suffered the injury, which was initially governed by a sprain, during the first quarter of Monday loss to kings. To say that this is a devastating blow for a Mavericks team that stands at the end of the Western Conference would be a underestimation, especially with Anthony Davis (Groin) who did not have a line of time to return. Let’s see how Irving’s injury affects the fantastic values of their available teammates.
Spencer Dywiddie (11 percent, Yahoo!) and Max Christie (25 percent) are the first two players who went with Irving were discarded the rest of the season. Although the former does not have a game that calls “fantasy”, the role change is too significant to overlook. Jaden Hardy (A percentage) started the third quarter of Monday’s defeat, but came out with a torn ankle, which means that the Mavericks will have even less depth in the position of protection. Dywiddie should lead the show for the predictable future, which makes it worth the risk.

Naji marshall (11 percent), the short term value of which increased when PJ Washington aggravated the right ankle over the weekend, is another player who takes into account. Like Christie, he has been a player of the tenth round in formats of eight and nine cats last month. It is not a great value, but the fantasy managers desperate for the value are in any other place to activate this list. Marshall played 30 minutes off the bench on Monday, ending with 18 points, five rebounds, six assists and two robberies. It will take on an expanded role with Irving Selfined because of their ability to play, even if they do not share the same position.
Klay Thompson (73 percent) can be successful in its fantastic value with the loss of the best Mavericks player. He only tried four shots on Monday, scoring three points in 25 minutes. Thompson will not go to an elite ball scorer at this stage of his career, so losing a player who can release him will have an impact. Dante exum (a percentage) should see that their minutes increase, but offers limited offensive advantage.
With Irving made for the season and Davis, Daniel Gafford (knee) and Dereck Lively II (Foot) is unlikely to return on time for fantasy playoff rounds, directors will be difficult to find a reliable value on the Mavericks list. One of the questions to be considered: Phoenix, which can be resorted to Dallas for three games in the loss column, to achieve his act?
