Week 14 in Yahoo Fantasy Basketball Leagues is the last full game of play before the NBA trade deadline on February 6. Some teams have recently changed their rotations, prioritizing the development of younger players and improving the odds of the franchise lottery. Given how the draft class of 2025 has been discussed, there will be even more “hijinks” after the trade period.
However, before reaching this point, there are many injuries for fantasy managers to take into account as they make their alignments. An injury is Suns Rookie Wing Ryan dunnwho suffered a torn during the first quarter of the January 25 victory of Phoenix on Washington. At least Dunn will miss the first game of Phoenix week 14, a home game with the clippers on Monday. Who fills the void in the starting line?
Bradley Beal seems to be the obvious answer because he was the headline in the previous season. A return to the initial five would increase its fantasy roof, which has been successful with the bench democitation. However, Phoenix’s defense would probably suffer if Mike Budenholzer chose Beal. Could this put in Royce O’Neale (9% classification, Yahoo) in the conversation, especially with Phoenix who needs someone to keep Kawhi Leonard? If so, O’Nale’s fantastic value will receive a welcome impetus, as it has been mainly a stream this season.
We examine some key questions from staff that affect fantastic basketball during week 14.
C Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
Due to foot and knee problems, Embiid has not appeared in a game since January 4. David Aldridge of Athletics wrote on January 26 That the 76ers do not believe that their NBA 2023 MVP will need a knee surgery and wait for it to return “at some point sooner than late”. This is not the most specific time line and Philadelphia will start a four -game week against Lakers on Tuesday. With Andre Drummond limited by a feet injury, it is the time of Guerschon Yabusele (23%) in the city of fraternal love until they were blurred to return. And considering his recent medical struggles, it would not be a bad idea to keep Yabusele even after he would return.
SF/PF Jalen Johnson, Atlanta Hawks
After losing five games in early January with a right shoulder injury, Johnson was out of the loss of January 25 in Atlanta in Toronto with a left shoulder injury. Gravity is still unknown, leaving fantasy managers in a retention pattern with respect to the Hawks emerging star. There are multiple streaming options to be taken into account with Johnson, from Vit Krejci (12%). Completing by Zaccharie Risacher, Krejci has been a top-75 player in 8 CAT formats in the last two weeks. It is worth a look at the deep leagues, even before the fantasy managers consider Larry Nance Jr. (4%) or Risacher (8%), which is debatable for Monday’s match against Minnesota.
Also,, P. Tree Young It has been ruled out with a hamstring problem, that is, Keaton Wallace (<1%) is likely to start at the point. While a risk work, Wallace was shown at its most recent start (29/6/4 with four points of three vs. Chicago on January 15) that can offer value when it is allowed to play heavy minutes. D'Andre Hunter (41%) is questionable for the Monday party with a disease, and their offensive production will be needed with Young and Johnson. It is worth collecting it in standard leagues when available.
SF/PF Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat
After serving another two-game suspension, Butler can join the Monday’s game against Orlando again. Miami coach Erik Spoelstra did not hesitate to start Butler after he returned from a seven -game suspension in early January. If it is how things reproduce on Monday, who goes to the bench? Haywood Highsmith (2%) would be the most likely option, as Duncan Robinson (17%) is a upper floor space. In addition, those who have the Rookie Kel’el Ware (45%) have to wait for the butler’s drama not to adversely affect the selection of the first round. During the last two weeks, it has provided a Top-50 value in 8 cats formats, fitting next to Bam Adebayo on the starting line.
SF/PF Cameroon Johnson, Brooklyn Nets
On Monday a third consecutive game was lost with a torn ankle, Johnson has only made four appearances on the networks since the beginning of January. While Noah Clowney (13%) received care after Dorian Finney-Smith was marketed in Lakers, Jalen Wilson (2%) is the one that has been most affected by Johnson’s availability. Since the beginning of January, he has promised 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.6 robberies and 1.3 points in 29.3 minutes. While the minutes were there, production was not what many fantasy managers expect to receive from a headline. Clowney would be the best addition today, but Wilson is someone who can increase their value after the commercial term, depending on whether or no more operations do.
PG/SG DEGAUNTE MURray, New Orleans Pelicans
Murray has already had an extended absence this season, as a broken hand suffered in the workshop left him aside for a little more than a month. Unfortunately, he is dealing with a right index injury, which kept the Pelicans out of his loss of January 25 in Charlotte. It is also the bursitis of the right elbow, Murray is questionable for the first match of the week 14 of New Orleans, January 27 against Toronto. This is the first of three games that the Pelicans will play and their availability affects several players.
Jordan Hawkins (5%) began the loss of Saturday against Hornets, ending with 14 points, four rebounds, an assistant, three robberies and two three points. It was not a performance that was destroyed on Earth, but it was a decent night in which the Hawkins can be built. More disappointing was CJ McCollum that changed to the point and fired on the 3-de-13 of the field. Regardless of Murray’s availability, it must be better than against Charlotte.
C Deandre Ayton, Portland Trail Blazers
Ayton has lost the last three Portland games with a left knee pain, with his absence taking care of the Blazers logjam in the central position. Donovan Clinguan (29%) has started the last two games and we probably approach the point where Portland really goes to prioritizing his minutes on Ayton or Robert Williams (19%). The Lord’s name has recently appeared in commercial rumors and can be easier to move than Ayton, even with the signs of medical questions. Portland is another team that plays three games during week 14, starting with the Bucks on Tuesday. Clinguan does not offer much value as a scorer, but the rebound and the protection of the rims make it worth adding -instead of waiting to see how the Portland office manages the deadline for trade before making a movement.
PG/SG COBY WHITE, Chicago Bulls
Coby White has lost the last three Chicago games with a bone bone on the right ankle, and this is an injury that can avoid it. Lonzo Ball (19%) was the replacement in the beginning line and promised almost 25 minutes per game last week. Although the points and percentages have not been good, all three points, assists and robberies make Lonzo worthy of a look at the deep leagues. Ayo Dosunmu (26%) was highlighted earlier this season, but this was before he suffered a calf injury, which cost him ten games between Christmas and January 15. This is what you need to see here, while Ayo played 28 minutes on Saturday’s loss in front of the Bulls. The restrictions that were found after returning from the calf injury are released, which can push the Dosunmu ball among those looking for a white replacement, even if Ayo continues to leave the bench.
PG/SG Jalen Suggs, Orlando Magic
In his first game after losing 10 with a lower tension on his back, Suggs suffered an apparent left knee injury during Saturday’s victory over Detroit. The magic has called it a left square bruise and is officially questionable for Monday’s party against Miami. If Suggs cannot play, Cole Anthony (18%) would return to streaming radar, even with his efficiency problems. Anthony Black (9%) has its offensive efficiency problems, but has brought some more defensive production to the table. Hopefully, Suggs can play smoothly on Monday, because there is not much fantasy that you like about the other dotted protection options on the magic list.
SF/PF Tobias Harris, Detroit Pistons
Harris, who also came to the match of pistons/Magic on Saturday, who came out after suffering an apparent injury to his head. Although he did not have to enter the League’s commotion protocol, the veteran striker is questionable for Monday’s game against Cleveland with a post -traumatic headache. While Rookie Ron Holland II (1%) has seen its minutes recently remained in adolescents. Harris’s injury, whether or not he plays against Cleveland, has put Malik Beasley (35%) on the streaming radar for those who did not move to add him when Jaden Ivey suffered a fractured fibula. Beasley has not been the most consistent player, but has provided a value of the 9th round in 8 cats formats last week. The pistons play four games during week 14, ending with a Sunday/Monday, which means they will play five in eight days.
SF/PF RUI HACHIMURA, Los Angeles Lakers
Hachimura was held at the Lakers victory on January 25 on the left -wing Warriors and is questionable for Monday’s game in Charlotte. Dorian Finney-Smith (6%) moved to the initial training, but offered limited value, ending with eight points, three rebounds and two three points in 26 minutes. While Rookie Dalton Knecht (11%) made more score than DFS, ending with 13 points and three three pointers, there was not much production outside these two categories. Nor is it a desirable streaming option if Hachimura loses more time.
Something to see, however, is the work of Jarred Vanderbilt (1%). He debuted the season on Saturday, registering 12 minutes and ending with two points, four rebounds, two assists and three robberies. Vanderblat should be well off the fantasy radar, but the defensive advantage would take a look at the deeper category league on the line, potentially for fantasy playoffs in standard leagues.
PF/C Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors
Green has lost seven of the last eight games of Golden State, the last four with a left calf. It is expected that it would be re -evaluated at the beginning of week 14, possibly as soon as Monday. With Jonathan Kuminga also injured, the opportunities have been opened for several players in the Warriors rotation. Moses Moody (7%) has provided a 9th round value in 8 CAT formats last week, and Brandin Podziemski (42%) returned from an abdominal injury on January 23 against Chicago. While Gui Santos and Quintten Post had their moments recently, both are ranked in 1% of Yahoo leagues, and this should never change. Golden State plays three games during week 14, starting with a Tuesday/Wednesday against jazz and thunder.
