While the Playoffs of the NBA are in full evolution, now is a good time to raise the fantasy basketball season for the 30 teams.
In the following weeks, we will provide a recap for each team, starting with the team with the worst record and ending with the NBA champion in June.
Today we are looking at a team whose future is so bright after a historical change by 2024-25.
Register: 48-34 (6th, east)
Offensive rating: 114.6 (14th)
Defense rating: 112.5 (10th)
Clean rating: 2.1 (12th)
Rhythm: 100.27 (11th)
2025 NBA Draft SPECTS: 37th choice
The pistons became the first team in the NBA history to triple their total victory of the previous season of 82 games when they went from 1423-24 to 48 wins by 2024-25.
Detroit has been a laiu of the association for years, but the 2024-25 pistons won 50 wins and played competitive basketball throughout the season.
Detroit has given his first Playoff appearance since 2019, but this was different. Between 2003-2008, the pistons arrived in the conference finals or better each season, but from 2009-2024, the team made the playoffs only three times and devastated in each series.
Detroit won two games in this year’s playoffs, marking the first earnings of pistons in more than 15 years. The 48 wins were also the most in this period.
Last season he showed that Franchise Cornerstone Cade Cunningham can lead a team to the post -season and turn it into a contestant with the appropriate pieces in his place. The inhabitants of the winery for a long time showed the speed with which the fortunes of the franchise can change, and the importance of the Detroit season for fanbase cannot be emphasized.
For the first time in more than a decade, there is hope and excitement in the motor city for piston basketball.
We claim the fantastic performances of last season and look forward until 2025-26.
Fantasy prominent and revelation: Cade Cunningham
There were no players on the Detroit list out of cade that could be defined as revelations, so he obtained this title along with the outstanding. Cunningham made a significant leap by 2024-25, with an average of 26.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.0 robberies, 0.8 blocks and 2.1 triples. It fired 46.9% from the ground, 84.6% of the charity and 35.6% beyond the bow.
The points, assists, triples, percentage of field goals and three -point percentage were the highest career, but the most important thing, their games were also played. In its fourth season, Cunningham recorded the 70 career games while playing in the 35-minute race at night, putting the worries of durability in bed after three seasons in trouble staying healthy.
The DO-It-EN ended with a maximum of 18 career assists when it published a triple-Double of 11/20/18 against the heat on December 16. This was one of his nine three-pointers, tied for fifth in the NBA. Cunningham published two three-pointers as a novio and none in each of the two following seasons.
Cunningham was an elite facilitator and a strong rebound for a guard, but he was also magnificent as a scorer. It ended with 23 games of 30 points, and its 13 games with at least 35 points were good for the fifth more at the NBA.
Cade has not yet played its best basketball, and is one of the young guys who are most promising in the association. It has 30/10 vice versa, as long as it can remain healthy and the fantasy managers should consider taking it to the first two rounds of 2025-26 drafts after the 25th in value per game was over last season.
Fantasy disappointment: Jalen lasts
Duren finished 77th in a fantasy value by the averages of 11.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.7 robberies and 1.1 shots blocked over 26.1 minutes per game. The big man shot 69.2% from the ground and 66.9% of the charity while he made 1.7 changes.
Duren set new career traits, percentage of field goals and assistance, and his fantasy finish had narrowed that last season. He played 78 career games, but Durren’s third season heard that the meat was in the bone.
In its second season, Duren promised 13.8 points and 11.6 rebounds for 29.1 minutes per game, and it seemed to be ready to take the next step in 2024-25. Instead, Detroit divided the minutes evenly through the list and cut off the play time.
Duren ended with six strokes blocked against the networks on March 1, passing a line 11/2/2/6. He set up a new career brand in the attendance department when he delivered seven against Sixers on February 7. Duren recorded 41 doubles in 78 appearances after passing through 44 in just 61 games a season ago.
In a gap, Durren’s 2024-25 season was a huge success, but given his career and career performance 2023-24, he felt a great disappointment. The sky is the limit of the center of 21 years, but the maximum that goes forward depends largely on the amount of playing time that has been given to it.
Tobias Harris:
After spending the last five and a half seasons with Detroit, Tobi signed a second point with the pistons in a dollars two million dollars agreement last season.
The veteran showed that he still has a lot in the deposit, as he promised 13.7 points, 5.9 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.0 robberies, 0.8 blocks and 1.2 triples while firing 47.7% from the floor, 86.1% of the charity and 34.5% beyond the bow and that they committed only 1.2 rotators.
The points were the few from Harris since the 2012-13 season, but they were also their 11 goal attempts. In a team with Cade Cunningham and several lethal shooters, Harris did not need to make a ton of offense and played his role for a team of pistons that shocked the association with an appearance in playoff.
Season 15, Harris should be a valuable later option for fantasy managers after finishing 76th place in value per game in 2024-25. It recorded at least 70 games for the fourth consecutive season and the eighth time in nine seasons, so durability is not a concern. Wait for a role similar to the pistons by 2025-26.
AUSE THOMPSON:
The versatile two-way progress finished the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 10.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 robberies, 0.7 blocks and 0.2 triples. It fired 53.5% from the ground, 64.1% of the charity and 22.4% beyond the ARC while committing only 1.4 revenue.
Thompson’s play time dropped 25.1 minutes per game to 22.5, but started 54 of its 59 appearances after starting only 38 of 63 games as a novio.
The second -year man handed seven attendance to the race with a performance of 19/5/7 against the Bulls on February 12. Set a new best staff in the robberies department with six against the Timberwolves on January 4.
Thompson finished 144th place for fantasy game and should only continue to improve. Despite less minutes, he established new highs, assists, robberies and all the percentages of shooting. It is worth a look at the last rounds of the Fantasy Draft 2025-26.
Malik Beasley:
Beasley probably offered the best bang for his season from any NBA player this season. Signed a one -year -old dollars agreement with Detroit in the Low Season and delivered historical numbers.
Beasley appeared in the 82 games last season and promised 16.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.9 robberies and a maximum of 3.9 triples per game. Shot the lights from outside the bow, and hit 41.6% of its three -point attempts.
Beasley finished the season with a piston franchise record 319 made three points, good for the eighth more in a single season. He became the fifth player in the history of the League with 300 triples in one season.
Beasley will surely order more than $ 6 million annually in the open market, and teams should be part of the services of a boy who can mark 20 out of the bench and provide an elite space on a particular night. For fantasy managers, he is useful as a specialist in points and triple, but probably production in any other category will be missing.
Isaiah Stewart:
“Beef Stew” was most noteworthy for his nickname Tonto and his fights on the court than due to significant basketball contributions this season. Big Man’s minutes and production were dramatically reduced this year and ended in 182 in fantasy value per game.
Stewart promised 6.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.4 robberies and 1.4 Swats for 19.9 minutes per game. Points, rebounds and minutes were minimal career, while the blocked features were a maximum of race. Stewart shot 55.9% from the floor and 75.9% of the charity, turning 2024-25 in the most efficient shot season of his career. After better promoting that 1.3 made three points for the last two seasons, he made only 0.2.
Stewart started 92 of his 96 appearances during the last two seasons, but began only four of his 72 career games by 2024-25. The big man is likely to stay on a bank role, especially with the strong game of veteran Tobias Harris. You do not need to select Stewart in fantasy drafts 2025-26.
Dennis Schroder:
The veteran played a sixth team in four seasons after being treated in Detroit, but had an immediate impact with averages of 13.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 0.9 robberies and 1.7 triples. Schroder’s getaways left a lot of desire, but offered veteran leadership and ran the bench actually.
Schroder was a much better presence that was a fantasy collaborator. He showed the playoffs, offering the fourth quarter key in several games, including the victory of match 2 piston games.
Schroder will take place in the open market this summer and will probably try to sign with a contestant if he decides not to return to Detroit.
Jaden Ivey:
The 2024-25 season was lost to Ivey, which unfortunately appeared in only 30 games due to a broken left fibula. The young guard promised several races of career before injuring -passing through 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 0.9 robberies and 2.1 triples while shooting 46% of the field and 40.9% beyond the bow.
Ivey was quite lasting during his first two seasons, just 13 total games in this period, so availability should not be a question for Ivey to move forward. It is expected that it will be ready for the start of the 2025-26 campaign, and the fantasy managers wait for another step forward.
Tim Hardaway Jr.:
After spending the last five seasons with the Mavericks, Thj signed a one -year agreement with Detroit to help face three -point deficiencies on the team. He provided 11 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.2 triples over 28 minutes per game, and helped to space the ground by Cade Cunningham.
Hardaway Jr. He fired 40.6/85.5/36.8 divisions and offered little out of the three -point category. A hot and cold scorer published a good handful of great score performances to go with a few types.
Set the free agency this summer, it is unclear where it will sign, but the long -range specialist should have no problem with a team that needs to shoot.
