Derek Henry: I thought that Lamar Jackson was unprecedented

Raven’s running Derek Henry was shocked like anyone by announcing Thursday night at 2024 NFL MVP.

Josh Allen, the Bills player, won the award, although most of them expected to go to the Raven’s Lamar Jackson player, who was chosen by the same voters in the first team, the midfielder. Henry admitted that he was not a neutral observer, but he said he believed Jackson has the best season for any player in the US Football Association.

“Of course, I will be a bit bias towards Lamar because he is a teammate,” Henry said at Podcast Mika Parsons. “I thought it was not mind to win. 41 declining, four objections, approximately 1000 (rushing) yard.”

Allen and Jackson were both strong candidates and the decision could go in both cases, but Allen’s choice was a surprise.
