After Washington cornerback Marshon Lattimore missed the final two games of the regular season with a hamstring issue, it appears he has a chance to be on the field for the wild-card game against Tampa Bay.
Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters in his Wednesday news conference that Lattimore is “hitting all the marks” in preparation for Sunday night’s game.
“We’re going to do a running workout today and we’ll be at full speed and get back to it tomorrow. So, it’s gotten to all the filmmakers up to this point and I’m anticipating that trend During the weekQuinn said, via ESPN’s John Kim. “But tomorrow and Friday, specifically tomorrow, will be faster.”
Plagued by a hamstring issue all season, Lattimore appeared in just two games for Washington after being acquired midseason from New Orleans.
He was on the field for 90 percent of the defensive snaps in those two contests.
Additionally, Washington opened a 21-day practice window for tight end Colson Jankoff, who is returning from a hamstring injury. He has appeared in six games this season, playing mostly on special teams.
