Cow sponsors announced three additions to the training staff on Wednesday afternoon.
In addition to the confirmation of the previously reported transition to Aaron Witkeoton as the defense line coach, the team also announced that Dave Burgonzi will be the coach of the back player and that Andre Curtis will work as a coordinator in the defensive scroll game.
Burgonzi and Cortis were both in defense coordinator Matt Eberflos in final training with bears and remaining on employees after Eberflus was expelled in late November.
Borgonzi, whose brother Mike was recently appointed as Titans, worked as Cowboys in 2012 and 2013. He also worked in Bucleeers and Colts.
The Safeties coach in Chicago was also an interview with coordinator with Cowboys. He spent 2015-2021 as a defensive coach with the Sehawks and Cowboys team, was Brian Shottheimer’s in Seattle for three of those seasons.
