Cota XFinity Results: Connor Zilisch agrees

“It was much harder than I wanted,” Zilisch told the CW Network about his victory. “I didn’t ride a clean race at all and sorry for everyone I hit. I was mentally foggy halfway through the race and am glad we were able to fight back. “

Zilisch was penalized for entering a closed pit road. He entered Pit Road just after a caution in the opening phase. The penalty kick dropped Zilisch to 32nd on lap 24 of the 65-Round race.

Zilisch recovered and passed JR Motorsports teammate Carson Kvapil for the lead with 10 laps. Zilisch pulls away for the victory.

William Byron finished second Sam Mayer third. Points -leader Austin Hill finished fourth. Christian Eckes has completed the top five.

Kvapil was in second place with five laps when he let a right band go and had to peck. He finished 23rd. Kvapil did earn a point for the XFinity Fastest Lap Award for the race.
