Connor Zilisch claimed his third career Nascar XFinity series on Friday at Martinsville Speedway, leading a JR Motorsports whip of the front row.

The pole for Zilisch is its first in the Xfinity series on an oval. His previous poles were on road courses (Watkins Glen last year and the Circuit of the Americas this year). Zilisch claimed the top position in Martinsville with a shot of 95.213 mph.

Carson Kvapil (95.089 mph) corresponds to his best career starting point in the XFINITY series. He also started in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Austin Hill qualified third with a shot of 94.732 mph. He is the lead among the Dash 4 cash managers who are eligible for a $ 100,000 bonus in Saturday’s race.

Jesse Love, who will make his cup debut on Bristol on April 13, qualified fourth with a shot of 94,486 km / h. Harrison Burton (94,369) begins fifth.

Jesse Love will drive the number 33 for Richard Childress Racing in the Bristol Cup race.

The other three Dash 4 cash managers are: Justin Allgaier (starts sixth), Sam Mayer (16th) and Sheldon Creed (18th).

Corey Day, who makes his XFinity debut, qualified eighth in a Hendrick Motorsports car.

The green flag is scheduled to blow at Martinsville on the CW network on Saturday at 17:10.
