Completely lost inside the neighborhood in the LA fires

Thousands of people in the affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles were forced to evacuate after strong winds ignited a massive fire.

The inferno has flattened homes as it raged – blowing from 10 hectares to more than 2,900 hectares in just hours.

At the scene, CBS reporter Jonathan Vigliotti said firefighters were no longer “trying to save homes in the Palisades,” they were “trying to keep those flames from spreading to other neighborhoods.”
