Colombian army releases 57 soldiers arrested by locals

On the weekend in the Colombian mountains, the locals were released in a military operating operation of seven soldiers who were held captives, the Colombian defense minister said.

Pedro Sánchez minister said he duplicated the “operation of justice” when a single shot did not shoot.

Soldiers captured in the Cauca region, the Fortress of the EMC rebels group, which participates in cocaine production and traffic.

Sánchez accused him of the record for what he described as the “kidnapping” of the soldiers, saying, the locals kidnapped were made by rebels.

Colombian military said the incident was arrested on Saturday’s alleged EMC rebellion.

As soldiers were ready to get out of the mountain range, more than 100 people were surrounded.

Then a second military unit was acquired by the local group, Erick Rodríguez General of Colombia Army said.

It was not the first time the members of the security forces were arrested by the locals, but the size of the soldier group was not very large.

In similar cases in the past, the humanitarian groups and the captured soldiers were released quite quickly.

This time, however, those who hold 57a refused to talk to anyone, causing the expansion of additional troops to release captive soldiers.

Armed reinforcement spread around and arrested 20 people, the defense minister said.

According to the military estimates, more than 90% of the surrounding residents depend on the cultivation of the surrounding population – the plant used to make cocaine – to live.

The presence of the surrounding soldiers is therefore seen as often as a threat.

The region addresses the various armed groups and landlords that extend the farmers and landlords and trafficking of cocaine.
