Casualities reported after firing in the military Georgia

The military base of the US Georgia State is blocked by officials to search for active shooters.

A Military Base Facebook message has said that the site was locked at 11:04 (16:04 GMT) and said “Reported Accidents”.

It is not clear how many people fired or injured on Wednesday at Fort Stewart (386 km) southeast of Atlanta (386 km).

“We are evaluating the situation, but we can confirm the active shooter”, Lt. Col. Angel Tomko said to the Associated Press.
