BUCS requested an OC interview with Rams assistant Nate Scheelhaase

The Buccaneers have begun their search for a new offensive coordinator following the departure of Liam Quinn to become the new head coach in Jacksonville.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that they have Request an interview With Rams offensive assistant and passing game specialist Nate Schelhaase. Quinn also served as an assistant with the Rams before landing in Tampa, though he spent a year at Kentucky in between jobs.

Schelehaase joined the Rams in 2024 and also has college coaching experience. He was Iowa State’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2023.

Schelhaase spent six seasons on the staff at Iowa State and began his coaching career with three years at Illinois. He also played quarterback at Illinois before moving to the coaching ranks.
