Brown interviews Clint Kubiak for offensive coordinator position

The Browns continue their search for a new offensive coordinator with another interview on Monday.

Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the club will talk to Saints offensive coordinator Clint Kubiak for the role.

Kubiak, 37, is very familiar with Browns coach Kevin Stefanski from their shared time with the Vikings during two different stints. Kubiak was the offensive quality control coach from 2013-14 when Stefanski was the assistant QB and tight ends coach. Kubiak was then the QB coach at Minnesota when Stefanski was offensive coordinator in 2019.

With the Browns in the market for a new leadership position since firing Ken Dorsey following the conclusion of the 2024 season, Kubiak was expected to take a look.

The Seahawks also requested an interview with Kubiak, who is still technically under contract with New Orleans despite the firing of former coach Dennis Allen midseason.

The Browns previously interviewed their tight ends coach Tommy Reese, Seahawks quarterbacks coach Charles London, Dolphins quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator Darrell Bevell, and Falcons tight ends coach Kevin Koger.
