British open 2025: Shane Lowry ‘felt as if he was throwing more and more’ while a virus fought in portrush

Shane Lowry didn’t want to say, but Saturday was brutal.

After inserted on Friday with two shots on the open air, Lowry arrived back to his accommodation and tried to break free. Unfortunately, he woke up at 2:30 in the morning to the cramping stomach. The virus, who went through Lowry’s family, finally arrived at him.

“Today the boring thing for me is not that I didn’t enjoy as much today as I would like,” Lowry added. “Saturday outdoors in your home country I should enjoy it much more than I did …

“I wanted to do good today and this week. I put so much in this week yes, yes, it’s hard to take.”
