Brian Harman survives a brutally heavy day to lead three to Valero Texas Open

San Antonio – Brian Harman survived 30 mph, by playing the final 13 holes without Bogee, giving him an even-pair of 72, so heavy so that only six players managed to spoil only six players.

Harman had the opportunity to join them until he missed a 12-foot bird attempt on the final hole in the TPC San Antonio.

He was more than happy to end with his first water 54 holes because he won open two years ago in the Royal Line. It was also his last victory, and Harman has a great opportunity to finish that drought.

“Just a hard day, man,” Harman said. “When you come around this, and the wind blows, and the needles are tied, it’s just a very difficult day.”

He was at 12-Mandu 204, three shots clean from Andrew of Novak (69), with Tom Hoge (68) another shot went out in the end circle. Keith Mitchell had 73 and there were five behind. Mitchell and Novak need to win in order to enter masters next week.

Novak also requires his first name PGA tour, and he has a wall to thank his chances.

He hit a 5-iron on the right at the 16th opening of 16. 16. years. He hit the wall under the balls and bounced into the rough and around 5 feet for the most amazing bird.

“Obviously, not a great shot, but I know if there is some space there, it can be fine,” Novak said. “I didn’t expect to move away and go green. That was obvious funny. It’s not the best momentum, and sometimes you sometimes golf you.”

There was no prize today for this day, with the wind from the opposite direction. No one could reach two out of a couple 5.

Harman was 2 because of his circle when he made a pair of late bunkers, on a couple-5, and available par-4 17.

Mitchell also burried on those holes, which they talked to the wind difficulties and back nine and the challenge facing everything.

“Yes (17) and 14 were the only birds we had all day,” Mitchell said. “Everything else that you just tried to find green, trying to find a way to just stop the ball. I just wish I was a little closer to Brian. He entered two more birds. He still has a chance.

Hoge may have had a most memorable circle because he did not publish any Bogee. He was in the second group to move away and noticed immediately, it was a challenge, not so cracked flag, but it is hard to bounce on green. In the wind or with the wind on the back of the player, it was not easy to get anything close.

TEE and Groups for the Group for the final circle of Valero Texas open.

The wind came out of the opposite direction from the previous two rounds.

“I just tried to make as much as possible.” Hoge said. “Even the Downwind holes from the beginning of the hole 1, I had a 56-degree wedge, I wasn’t sure I could hit green with it because she bounced so much when I skipped green.”

Mitchell got a bounce and rolled right on 10. The hole when the ball stopped him in her bad bird, and he opened a bird from 12. years. Hoge also bird 14. and 17. holes, two the easiest to scoring in the third round.

Only three more holes played under a couple.

Sam Ryder, who started with 63, had eight 5s on his card and posted 77 to leave the game in the final group to be out of claim.

Patrick Canlay finished the front nine with a couple of Bogea, both times that missing a couple of 5-foot times or closer and shot 74 to finish eight shots. Jordan Spieth was in the group another shot behind 73.

Harman can easily get out into the package so hard as it was on the front nine. He struck a great chip to his leg on a couple-3 seventh, saved a pair from the bunker on JAR-5 eighth and ran away with a couple on the ninth with 6 foot.

“He just leaned on his short game today, he was crushed inside, close several times,” Harman said. “The stat leaf won’t say that, but I made some solid couple.
