The Snedeker will lead the American team for the first time next year in Medina Country CLUB no. 3 course outside Chicago, while Ogilvy takes the reins of the international side for his first captaincy.
Snedeker, 44, played in one presidential cup, compiling 2-3 records in Muirfield Village 2013. Years. He also competed in two national teams, was an assistant for the president and the corrector was to serve as VicePitan for the American Cup team later this year in Bethpage black.
“It’s a huge honor … And I’m looking forward to guiding our guys in Medinah for what will surely be an incredible week of golf,” said Snedeker. “Representing my country in the team competition was the culmination of my PGA tourer, and I will lean into those experiences to ensure that we are prepared and ready to compete against what I know is a unique and determined international team.”

The 2026 matches are scheduled for 24-27 September. The US is leading all the time series 13-1-1.
