Brad Keselowski says RFK Racing has changed after recent fines

Keselowski said the organization did restructuring to prevent the business from happening again.

Two penalties in the past five weeks have cost RFK racing teams a joint 69 points and five playoffs. It is important for teams trying to stay on a play -off match with half the ordinary season left.

Two weeks later, Nascar punished Chris Buescher the team when he discovered a violation with the leading bumper covering in the R&D Center after the Kansas race. Nascar presented Buescher and the team 60 points and five play -offs each. An appeal this week reduced the point penalty to 30. The penalty of five play -offs was kept intact.

Keselowski said the situations that were on hand would not mention items.

“Finally, the burden falls on us and we have those conversations internally. I think everyone knows what is expected of them ahead. ‘

Chase Briscoe is joined by JGR teammate Denny Hamlin on the front row.

When asked how RFK Racing will keep up with what Keselowski said is the complexities of the rulebook, he said:

‘The rules are exceptionally complicated. It’s a bit like an IRS tax code. You must read this article, and you must refer to this article to refer to this article to refer to this article. If you are on your way and dig, 38 weeks a year, supervision of our perspective will take place. From our perspective, this is not an excuse.

“I can’t really talk to other teams and how they handle it. I can talk to ours and we made a small restructuring this week to be better prepared and more aware of what it takes to adjust. We have just changed a few roles and responsibilities. “

Sermon holds the last play -off match entering Sunday’s race on Nashville Superspeedway. Buescher is the first driver outside a play -off. He steps with six points.
