Before and after the Pacific Palisades fires

Palisades Village and Pacific Palisades have been destroyed by wildfires across Los Angeles.

A walking tour video shot by lifestyle bloggers Simran and Ishaan in March last year shows the gardens, villas, luxury shops and sea views that once characterized the area.

But ten months later, after the fire decimated the neighborhood, a Reuters cameraman retraces the steps of the walking route, with images showing charred shells of buildings, wrecked cars and streets covered in ash and debris.
