Tuesday’s game between the Timberwolves and the Nuggets was essential in the western conference classification. While Denver wants to make a race in both seeds, Minnesota hopes to avoid the game tournament. Both teams combined to stage an instant classic, with the visiting Timberwolves winning 140-139 in two Sg/sf Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Seven percent, Yahoo! Leagues) Free launched with one -tenth of the remaining second in the double extension.
The free launches led a great night for Alexander-Walker, who ended with 26 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and five three points in 45 minutes. As he remained on a bench role, the absences of Naz Reid and Divinnenzo (both were suspended) increased Alexander-Walker’s fantasy roof. He made the most of his opportunity, and Minnesota is now linked to Memphis by the sixth in the West.
Reid and Divincho were only suspended for a game, so they will be available for Thursday’s game against networks. This does not help Alexander-Walker’s executives, but there may be additional minutes due to the competition. Minnesota ends her week with games against two teams (Brooklyn and Philadelphia) focused more on improving her lottery chances than wins.
Let’s look at some of the other Tuesday’s highlights:
Pg Ryan Rollins (13%), Milwaukee Bucks
Rollins had the best night of his NBA career, ending Tuesday’s victory over the Suns with 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, two robberies and five three points in 31 minutes. Shooting the 8-10 of the field, he set up races in points and three points. With Damian Lillard (beef) out indefinitely and the Bucks playing three games in the last four days of week 22, there is no reason not to shoot the dice in Rollins now that it serves as a guard of the starting point.
SF/PF Julian Champagnie (12%), San Antonio Spurs
Champagnie was solid to the loss of Tuesday before the magic, ending with 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and five three points in 32 minutes. Although it was not the replacement of Jeremy Sochan on the start line, the absence of Sochan due to the later spasms lifted the Champagnie Fantasy roof. With SOCHAN, it was not expected to play the Wednesday game against the Nuggets, it would be a good idea to add Julian before this contest. Bismack Biyombo (three percent) returned to the initial program and ended with a 1/1/1/1/2 in 26 minutes, but Champagnie is the upper stream.
PG/SG/SF GRAYSON ALLEN (11%), Phoenix Suns
The Suns were without Bradley Beal and Kevin on Tuesday, with the latter for at least one week. Allen moved to the initial program and provided valuable offensive production, ending the loss in Milwaukee with 23 points, four rebounds, three assists, a robbery and six three points in 34 minutes. Allen shot the 6-of-13 beyond the bow, and the shots will continue to be there whenever and Beal be set aside. The Lone Negative is the next calendar, as the Suns does not play again until Friday against the Celtics.
C Mitchell Robinson (10%), New York Knicks
With Karl-Anthony Towns (knee), Robinson received his initial head on the 27th anniversary. Knicks center needed only 21 minutes to record 14 points, 14 rebounds, a robbery and two blocked shots. Robinson shot the 5-of-9 of the field and 4 of 4 of the free kick in its best performance of the season. Robinson has not yet played the two back games this season, so he may not be available for Wednesday’s game against Cavaliers. However, its only 21 -minute game can keep the door open so slightly.
SG Ja’kobe Walter (6%), Toronto raptors
Walter started the game on Tuesday because the raptors retained RJ Barrett (REST) and the Novio had a good night in the loss of Chicago. In 27 minutes, he represented 17 points, four rebounds, four assists, one robbery and five three points. Walter was Deep 5 of 5, and it is not difficult to foresee that his play time would increase. Tuesday’s defeat eliminated Toronto from post -season containment, so there are still less reasons to play boys like Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and Jakob Poeltl (Scottie Barnes has a different availability standard for the league due to his star).
PG/SF Talen Horton-Tucker (0%), Chicago Bulls
Horton-Tucker was not in anyone’s fantasy radar before Tuesday and with a good reason. However, the Bulls lowered multiple rotation guards and played for 32 minutes against the raptors. Tht ended with 27 points, six rebounds, three assists and three three points, shooting the 8 of 16 of the field. It is not necessary to add it after this performance. In addition, there is hopes that Lonzo Ball can return from the wrist injury as soon as Friday. That said, although Horton-Tucker should not be added, he deserved a mention after his performance against the raptors.
