As the Vikings-Rams team prepares to visit Los Angeles on Monday, the NFL is monitoring the wildfires closely

As the Rams prepare to host the Vikings on Monday night, wildfires are breaking out near Los Angeles. Between the spread of the fire and the impact of the fire on air quality, the league is concerned with the situation.

“The AFL continues to monitor developments in the region closely and will remain in contact with both clubs and the AFL,” Brian McCarthy, the AFL’s chief spokesman, told PFT via email.

Delaying the game does not appear to be an option, given that the winner will play the following weekend. If the fire gets too close to the field or if the air quality in Inglewood drops toward unhealthy levels, the game may be moved.

The closest options for transportation include Phoenix and Las Vegas.

The game has five days left. At some point, you have to make predictions about where things will stand as of Monday night.

For now, nothing has changed. In a short time, it might be possible.
