Chase Briscoe and Joe Gibbs Racing recalled their fines on Wednesday through the National Motors Sports Appeal Panel.
The decision means that Briscoe gets the 100 points and 10 play -offs Nascar has penalized him for a pampering after the Daytona 500.
Nascar Doc Austin Cindric 50 points and $ 50,000 for the deliberate turn of Ty Dillon.
Briscoe is now in 14th place in the season with Carson Hocevar. Both have 72 points on the way to Sunday’s race at Phoenix Raceway. Briscoe is a point in front of Kyle Larson, which is 16th place in the season.
The panel said: “The panel is of the opinion that the extension of some of the holes on the number 19 -cup pie is caused by the process of attaching the specific spoiler base to the rear deck and not adjusting the single -tuned cell.”
Briscoe said on social media: “… thank you to @nascar for giving us the option to show our evidence and thank you to everyone at @joegibbsracing who sat countless hours to compile everything.”
Former CEO of Motorsports Marketing, Dixon Johnston, former President Speed Channel Hunter Nickell, and former South Boston general manager Cathy Rice served on the panel.
