Anthony Richardson: I work as if I were a day one starter

Colts Quarterback Anthony Richardson says he is preparing as if he will be in the middle when the season opens against the dolphin 7. September.

Richardson competes with Daniel Jones for the initial job in Indianapolis, and Richardson said he had sublime goals for himself and his team.

“I just have to work like I’ll be the day of one starter,” Richardson said. “No matter the decision, I’m still working, I’m trying to improve. On this team will be about it. I just work like I’m starter, and if I don’t get a job, you know, Glory to God.”

The Jones told his part he was trying not to look no further than the next practice.

“All our jobs like players are going out, working and improving every day,” Jones said. “You’re a man, you’re thinking about where you’re and how it goes, but I have to do the best I can focus on what’s in front of me.”

Richardson and Jones were also a highly designed drawn cost that has not lived up to expectations so far. Colts needed one of them to step up and play like a franchise.
