Alas Pilipinas in 2025 AVC Men’s Volleyball Nations Cup

Following the historic rise of the women’s team to an unprecedented AVC silver medal, the Alas Pilipinas Men strut their stuff and hope for a similar breakthrough or better in the 2025 AVC Men’s Nations Cup in Bahrain

MANILA, Philippines – Philippine volleyball continues to make noise on the international stage as Alas Pilipinas flexes its readiness to host the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship with a hopeful campaign in the 2025 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Men’s Nations Cup in Manama, Bahrain.

With the women’s team earning its first silver medal in the 64-year history of the AVC, it’s the men’s turn to chase their slice of history after a dismal 10th-place showing in the 2024 Challenge Cup.

Bunched in a lean Pool C in this year’s event, Alas hopes to take care of business with its two elimination round matches in as many days before moving on.
