A huge increase in sexual violence against Haitian children

The Haitian Gang rule has been a tremendous rise in sexual violence against children, warned of the United Nations Children’s Organization.

The violent gang of the Caribbean Island had had the population who have not treated the population of the inhabitants for several years, UNICEF said.

Sexual violence against children has risen by 1,000% since 2023, “on the battlefield,” said James Elder spokesman.

UNICEF calculated 85% of the capital that Port-Au-Prince is under control of the gangs. More than one million lives with the constant threat of violence.

The older man gave a 16-year-old girl who left home, and then the armed men were caught. They were beaten, drugged and repeatedly raped.

About a month, he said, until the gang would not realize that his family did not have money to pay for a rescue. Haiti are common for the extortion.

It is located in a shelter with dozens of other girls who receive attention.

Port-Au-Prince control has led to a complete absolute law and order, the collapse of health services and the creation of food safety crisis.

More than 5,600 people were killed last year alone in the Haitian solo gang violence.

The Haitian presidential council is created to organize elections and re-establishing the democratic order.

The Council replaced the temporary Prime Minister in November, but has made little progress to organize the old election.

Children also hire gangs, sometimes by force, UNICEF said.

The organization has found members of children who are as young as eight.

Even though Haitian children need normal childhood, even if they are home with families, UNICEF said they didn’t exist. Schools and hospitals barely work and tens of children are not in school.

UNICEF has created safe Haitian spaces to try to help children and prevent sexual violence.

But last year, when it was $ 221.4 million ($ 177.8 million), Haiti finance his work, which is just a quarter of them.

It is afraid to freeze in foreign aids that affect humanitarian projects around the world now that the Haiti needs will be again forgotten.
