Rico Hoey occupies 1 point in the weekend in the Barracuda championship


Truckee, Calif – Rico Hoey had his second flat on Friday for 13 points to take one point in the weekend at the Championship of the Barracuda, the only PGA tour that uses a modified scoring system stable.

Players receive eight points for double eagles, five for eagles and two for bird. The point is rejected for Bogee and three for double Bogee.

He played opposite open, the tournament restrained the European tour. The winner enters PGA Championship, but not masters.

Hoey had six birds and bacchates in their afternoon circle on the old old club plans that was covered by the old Greenwood sitting at a height of 6,000 feet.

“I really like the course,” Hoey said. “It was good luck to start here first. They called me the sponsor called, so for me something special and I hope to move on.”

Max McGreevy and 2021 Champion Erik Van Roooyen from South Africa was tied up in a second.

Hoey is a petrol in 51 careers starting at the PGA tour. He was born in Philippines, grew up in California and played at the University of Southern California.

“I just feel like I’m home,” Hoey said. “It’s California. He grew up in California. I love this event. It’s always fun to work as a point system so that you feel like you want to make a lot of birds.”

McGreevy eagle is a pair-5 third at 16 points afternoon circle.

“Only drawing up, much good looks,” McGreevy said. “Today, I arrived to go early, just released and allowed me to be a little more aggressive, I mean in some spots.”

Van Rooyen scored 14 points in the morning session. He was pliced four last six on each nine.

“He finally presents some shop windows,” Van Rooyen said. “In that sense, she was an attempted season.”

Tom Vaillant from France was neighborhood in 23. Isaiah Salinda, Joel Dahmen, Vince Whaley, Ryan Gerard and Jackson Suber has 22. SUBER played in the last free day group.

Ben Martin, the leader of the first round, had a zero point to fall 10 points behind.

Max Homa gathered to make a cut, while his partner player – Dam Champion Nick Dunlap and the winner of the NCAA Michael La Sasso from Mississippi – rejected. The German Gemini Yannik and Jeremy Paul also missed the cut.
