LIF Launchpad Wants Your Boldest Ideas

Do you have an idea that could change your community… and maybe even the world?

This September, UNLEASH Philippines will bring together 150 participants from across the country and facilitators and mentors from around the world for a week-long Innovation Lab in Manila (Sept 19–25, 2025), hosted by the University of Santo Tomas (UST).

UNLEASH Philippines is the first part of LIF Launchpad. Launching for the first time in the Philippines, it offers a chance to bring science, tech, and engineering ideas to life with real-world tools, support, and a shot at going global.

Here’s the journey:

• Step 1: Innovation Lab (Sept 19–25, Manila). A one-week innovation sprint where 150 changemakers from across the country, supported by a team of global facilitators, team up to prototype solutions to real-world problems.
• Step 2: Prototyping Program. A 3-month program to test, refine, and prepare it for the next level.
• Step 3: Go global. Participants who complete both phases can apply to LIF Global, the international startup program by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

The program is open to anyone aged 18 and above, with a strong focus on inclusion, welcoming participants from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, including those in rural and remote areas. LIF Launchpad strongly welcomes applications from Indigenous Peoples and individuals from minority and underrepresented groups.

All program costs—including travel, accommodation, and meals—are covered. Scholarships are available to ensure financial barriers don’t stand in the way.
