Louis Rees-Zammit will try NFL for another year or two before returning to rugby

When the Welsh Rugby Player Louis Rees-Zammit announced that he would move abroad to try to succeed in the NFL, he took a great risk withdrawal from the beginning at home for a sport that had never played before. So far, he did not pay off, but he says he gives himself a year or two to continue trying.

Rees-Zammit originally went to the bosses and played back for them in the pre-season last year, and then they cut the bosses and signed the Jaguars’ practice post as a wide receiver. He was still in Jacksonville and said he thought there was more time to understand the American game.

“International players get probably two to three years to succeed in NFL,” said rees-zammit for TalkSport.com. “That’s how I wanted to do it in time when I might be back in Rugby. Now I’m 24, probably got one to another two years to try and succeed Depending on how this year goes. I’ll be 25, 26 when I get back in Rugby. I like to think I can still play at the highest level. “

Rees-Zammit said he thought that the training in the NFL can prove that it would make him a better rugby player in the future.

“When I played Rugby, I went to America twice to train and the things I knew there I immediately helped my game. Now, I have two years to be back, I will surely be able to avoid,” he said.

But first he will try to characterize the Jaguars camp and I hope he keeps him for the regular season.
