“Search continuing, I guess”: Tommy Fleetwood suffers another PGA tour in passengers

Surely Tommy Fleetwood did it.

The 34-year-old English tried attempted, tried and tried again, 158 times in fact, but unsuccessful. His 41 Career Top-10s? The most on the PGA tour player without victory since 1983. – and seven more than the next player next player, Brett Quigley, who is now 55 years old. Forget the best player to win the main one; Fleetwood has long been the best player who can never win at the world’s largest tour period.

Still, at the end of Sunday afternoon at the Traveler Championship, a moment of Fleetwood seemingly seemingly finally came. Even Rory McIlroy, on the road from the city, called a game with Fleetwood who led a snapshot with one for the game. “He was more than because of that,” McIlroy said, “So, there is so much talent and so much abilities, and it is obvious that he saw him great.”

It was just one problem: Fleetwood didn’t do that.

With the closure of Bogey at the TPC River Highlands’ PAR-4 hole to close with Keegan Bradley Birdie, Fleetwood saw his PGA Tour breakup suddenly replaced the replaced with a six-end career finish.

“It’s a crudy way to finish,” devastated flete said.

Fleetwood is a triple fractor through 54 holes deleted as he deleted three of his first four holes. But he also placed with birds in no. 11 and 13 took control of the tournament. With three game holes, he led Bradley, Russell Henley and Jason for two.

Then came a par-3 16. Hole, where Fleetwood flew green, about 25 meters long from the flag. He chipped the 21 foot chip next to and could not save his couple.

Still, Fleetwood, after the steam at no. 17, he entered the final hole with over 85% of the chances of winning, according to golf data.

And Fleetwood and Bradley hit the via Fleetwood, first, fought to judge the wind and left his approach only to short green, though only about 50 feet from the hole. It was a direct chip while Bradley appeared the pressure by throwing a 137-yard with a 5-foot picard. Fleetwood has left his bird, try from green around 7 feet short, then missed Putt, and so, Fleetwood lost directly when Bradley was calmly.

After signing, Fleetwood admitted that he “went somewhere” to go and cross – and he did not turn it off – but first he stepped on the microphone and vowed to find the positive, how hard he would be hard.

“I was not in this situation for a while,” said Fleetwood, who now has the 12 best 25s this season, but no other Top-3. . Even worse to do would be like this obstacle to what you go forward. I obviously played great, I put myself in a great position, I led the tournament for 71 holes.

“I just want to make sure I can get in this position again and try to correct what I did this time.”

The shock continued a few more questions, because Fleetwood added: “I’d like that today. I guess it’s going to be searched. When it happens, very sweet.

“You know, like in my mind, yes, I won a multitude of PGA tour events; I just didn’t do it in reality and I’m sure the time would come if I continued to work.”
