Joe Brady is out of the hunt for Saints, Bills will remain OC

The next Saints coach won’t be Joe Brady.

Brady was expected to have a second interview with the team next week, but the NFL’s Ian Rapoport told the media that he has taken his name out of consideration for the job. Brady will remain the Bills’ offensive coordinator as a result of the decision.

Brady was promoted to his current position when Ken Dorsey was fired during the 2023 season and helped the team reach the AFC Championship Game that season by putting up the second-most points in the league. This should make a lot of people in Buffalo happy to hear he will commit.

The Saints have interviewed Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver and Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka over the past two days. Former Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy, Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore are expected to interview them in the coming days.
